From Kerkrade to Kaapstad, social issues everywhere call for leaders who look beyond their own organizations or countries. Issues such as inclusion, economic development, sustainability, and equal opportunity require people who can collaborate across borders, dare to act with an entrepreneurial spirit, and know how to translate innovation into social impact.
At The Next Lab, we develop the leaders, entrepreneurs, and changemakers who make a difference. We believe that sustainable social change starts with people: by giving them the skills, the network, and the confidence to recognize opportunities, inspire others to take action, and bring new solutions to life.
What issues are we addressing?
Among other things, we are working on issues such as:
- How do we develop the social leaders of today and tomorrow?
- How can we strengthen entrepreneurship as a driver of economic and social development?
- How can we help build international networks that lead to lasting collaboration and impact?
- How do people develop the skills to successfully apply innovation in their own organization or community?
- How do we translate societal aspirations into concrete initiatives and results?
What do we do in that regard?
- Depending on the task at hand, we use different approaches:
- Leadership programs in which participants develop leadership skills related to innovation, entrepreneurship, and social impact.
- Hosting international delegations, such as the One Young World Delegation, in which young leaders are supported in their personal development and social impact.
- Impact and growth programs, such as the Iraq Growth Program, which support entrepreneurs and professionals in strengthening entrepreneurship, innovation, and economic development.
- From leadership development to lasting social impact.
